WINTER FUN IN BRALORNE

Sled Bralorne Bralorne is the snowmobile headquarters for Western Canada. From November to April you can ride the mountain slopes and backcountry roads around Bralorne with great fun and ease.

Winter in Bralorne is a snow lovers paradise. At 3350 feet above sea level, the town stays snowbound for most of the winter. Snowmobiles are part of everyday transport and great fun in the backcountry. Avalanche training is recommended to play in the mountains.

Other winter activities include Ski Touring, Sled Skiing and Snowboarding, Snowshoeing, XC Skiing, Ice Fishing, Winter Camping and Ice Skating on the frozen lakes. Sunshine Mountain Ski Hill has been around since the 1930’s and is an ongoing community project.

Ski BralorneSkiers and sledders gather around the Mineshaft Pub at the beginning and end of each day and a sense of excitement fills the air. Bag lunches can be arranged from the pub for the trail.

Amazing tales abound at the pub and on any given day you can hear skidoo stories that will blow your mind. People take pride in telling about ice caves they visited and the high mountain passes they rode. Photo opportunities exist on every trail, around every corner. Check out the giant one-of-a-kind topo wall map in the pub!

Come stay for a day, or a week or more at the Mines Motel. So comfy and cosy, you won’t want to leave this mountain paradise!
